position summary:the aeronautical engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of aircraft and aerospace systems. the role focuses on improving flight safety, efficiency, and performance while ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations. the engineer works closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative and reliable aerospace solutions.key responsibilities: design & developmentdesign and develop aircraft components, structures, and systems.use cad/cam software (catia, solidworks, autocad, etc.) for 2d/3d modeling.analyze aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion systems to optimize performance.conduct feasibility studies for new design concepts and prototypes.collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing. testing & analysisperform wind tunnel tests, flight simulations, and performance evaluations.analyze test results to identify design flaws or areas of improvement.conduct structural and fatigue analysis using tools like ansys or matlab.ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards (dgca, faa, easa). production & maintenancesupport the manufacturing process by providing technical input and design validation.assist in maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and repair of aircraft systems.evaluate materials and production methods for efficiency and durability. documentation & complianceprepare technical reports, test documentation, and certification papers.ensure compliance with aviation standards and environmental regulations.maintain accurate records of design modifications, testing, and approvals. innovation & researchresearch emerging aerospace technologies and materials.contribute to projects related to uavs, satellites, or space vehicles.suggest improvements for existing aircraft systems and components.skills & competencies:strong understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion, and flight mechanicsproficiency in cad/cae software (catia, ansys, matlab, solidworks)knowledge of cfd and fea toolsexcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsgood technical documentation and communication abilitiesteam collaboration and project management skillsawareness of aviation safety regulations and standardsqualifications:education: ./ (./ preferred)experience: 05 years (entry-level to mid-level); internship or industry experience preferredcertifications (optional): catia, ansys, matlab, or dgca-approved trainingwork environment:office and lab-based work with occasional visits to test sites or manufacturing unitscollaboration with design, testing, and maintenance teamsmay involve travel for inspections, trials, or client meetingsjob titles / related roles:aerospace engineeraircraft design engineerflight test engineermaintenance engineer (aviation)propulsion engineerExperience 0 - 6 Years No. of Openings 110 Education I.T.I., B.Arch, B.E, B.Tech, Any Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, M.Tech, Any Master Degree Role Aeronautical Engineer Industry Type Aviation / Airline / Aerospace Gender ( Male / Female ) Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office Face interview location Mumbai
