About the Role We are looking for a highly skilledSenior SAP ABAP Consultantwith strong hands-on experience inRESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) . The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, and deliver scalable, clean, and efficient ABAP solutions on SAP S/4HANA using RAP frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop end-to-end applications usingSAP ABAP RAP(behavior definition, CDS views, service definitions, service bindings, etc.). Build and enhance applications onS/4HANAandBTP ABAP Environment . Design and implementCDS Views, AMDP, ABAP OO , andOData services . Work onFiori Elementsapplications integrated with RAP. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize performance of ABAP programs and CDS-based solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and ensure high-quality code following SAP best practices. Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and project managers. Support deployment, testing, and post-go-live activities. Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience inSAP ABAP development . Strong expertise inRAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) . Proficient inCDS Views, OData V2/V4, BOPF (optional), AMDP, ABAP OO . Experience withS/4HANAextensions usingIn-App and Side-by-Sideapproaches. Understanding ofFiori Elementsand UI annotations. Knowledge ofBTP ABAP Environment(advantage). Experience inDebugging ,Performance Optimization , andUnit Testing . Nice to Have Experience withSAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) . Knowledge ofEvent Handling ,Draft Handling , andAuthorization conceptsin RAP. Exposure toCI/CD ,Git , ortransport managementin BTP.
