Description : Key Responsibilities : - Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Lake solutions on cloud/on-premise platforms.- Define architecture, design standards, and best practices for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and access.- Oversee data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and integration with various data sources.- Manage data quality, governance, security, and compliance in line with organizational standards.- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analysts to align technical solutions with business needs.- Drive adoption of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Mentor and lead technical teams, providing guidance, performance reviews, and skill development.- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and implement best practices for performance and scalability.- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 12 - 14 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform delivery.- Strong experience with Data Lake solutions, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration.- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.- Proven experience leading large-scale data delivery projects.- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with real-time data streaming, event-driven architectures, or machine learning pipelines.- Knowledge of data catalog, metadata management, and data lineage tools.- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (ref:hirist.tech)
