Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA)Location: [Bangaluru]Language - Kannada is mandatory (READING , WRITTING OR SPEAKING)Experience: [Insert Experience Range, e.g., 2–5 Years]Compensation: ₹6.5 LPA – ₹7.5 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and interview performance)Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Linux administration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architectures, be adept at scripting, and committed to ensuring data integrity, security, and availability across systems.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases in production and development environments. - Administer Linux-based database servers, including setup, configuration, tuning, and patching. - Develop and manage backup and recovery plans to ensure data protection and high availability. - Monitor database performance and implement changes for optimization. - Write and maintain efficient Bash/Shell scripts for automation and system management. - Ensure compliance with database security protocols and implement best practices. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support integration and deployment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database systems with minimal downtime. - Maintain documentation for database systems, configurations, and procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Hands-on experience with Linux administration is essential. - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. - Solid understanding of database concepts, design, and normalization. - Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. - Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting. - Familiarity with database security standards and practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. - Quick learner with a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
