Overview Tiger Analytics seeks a dynamic and visionary Senior Leader to lead our Data Science engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and leading a team of high-class professionals, managing data science projects and closely engaging with clients to ensure smooth end-to-end execution. This role requires a strategic mix of oversight and hands-on involvement in project leadership, resource management, team development, and overall growth of our data science practice. Key Responsibilities Your role will include (but not be limited to) the following activities: Requirement Gathering and Classification: This involves engaging in comprehensive stakeholder discussions to understand the scope and nuances of data science projects. Understanding Client Requirements: To ensure successful project execution, one must deeply understand the client's expectations and requirements by effectively analysing client needs from a solution and feasibility standpoint. Resource Planning and Allocation: Effective resource management is crucial for the success of projects. You will collaborate closely with the Workforce Manager to identify and allocate appropriate resources by assessing skill matching, availability and planning allocation. Employee Training and Preparation: Preparing employees for client interactions is essential for successful project execution. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive training and preparation to improve the chances of absorption. Ongoing Engagement and Feedback: Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Overall Growth: Actively working towards the overall growth of the data science practices by focusing on the account-wise growth opportunities and working closely with the BD teams to open avenues for new client acquisitions. Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in, technology, business administration, or a related field. Delivery Experience: 10+ years of delivery experience in solutioning and managing data science projects with scale. Experience delivering and understanding complex data science projects. Project Management Experience: Extensive experience in project management, client engagement, and end-to-end execution. Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects. Client Management : Understanding and exceeding clients' expectations, and managing complex client relationships. Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with (or significant exposure to) commonly used advanced analytic tools, techniques, and infrastructure. Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for addressing challenges. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
