The Opportunity

Paula's Choice Singapore is seeking an CRO and Site experience Specialist to optimize the online shopping experience and drive conversion growth across Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for enhancing customer journeys in the beauty and skincare industry.

Reporting to the Data Analyst Manager SEA, you will be responsible for executing conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, improving website UX/UI, and supporting A/B testing initiatives. By leveraging web analytics, user behavior insights, and data-driven optimizations, you will ensure that Paula's Choice provides a seamless and engaging e-commerce experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Website Experience:

  • Assist in the execution of CRO strategies by implementing changes to the website to optimize user engagement and conversions
  • Help identify areas of friction in the customer journey using web analytics and user feedback
  • Collaborate with the technical team to help implement changes, including tag management (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and basic troubleshooting of website performance issues
  • Support the creation and management of A/B tests, user experience tests, and analyse results to provide insights for website improvements
  • Monitor and enhance website experience by reviewing collections, product tagging, and site navigation to improve discoverability and user journey
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in site tagging and testing
  • Design wireframes for proposed UI/UX enhancements

Shopify Campaign Setup & Execution:

  • Assist in setting up, tracking, and optimizing campaigns on Shopify, ensuring all relevant elements (product/collection pages, discounts, gift cards, gift with purchases) are aligned with marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse user behaviour during campaigns, tracking the journey from landing page to cart-out to identify drop-off points and areas for improvement
  • Help monitor campaign performance through Shopify analytics and provide regular updates on key metrics (traffic, conversions, etc.)
  • Optimize landing pages and campaign funnels using data-driven insights to maximize conversions and enhance user experience.
  • Support the integration of third-party apps and tools within Shopify to improve campaign effectiveness and tracking

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with brand, DTC, IT and Data teams to ensure the website's design and functionality align with marketing goals and customer expectations
  • Communicate with different teams to gather feedback on website optimizations and assist in implementing improvements
  • Provide basic reporting and analysis on the impact of website changes and campaigns

Rebranding & Global Alignment for SEA Markets:

  • Lead the execution of the rebranding rollout across all SEA markets, ensuring alignment with global directives
  • Work on PDP banners update and implement changes progressively, keeping in sync with global timelines
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Global, Brand, DTC) to ensure all rebranding assets are updated across Shopify stores

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track website performance using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and tools
  • Prepare reports on conversion rates, bounce rates, and other relevant metrics to share insights with teams
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on KPIs related to CRO

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in CRO, website optimization, eCommerce, or digital marketing
  • Knowledge of Shopify Plus for campaign setup and site management
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or similar tools for tracking performance
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager for implementing tags and tracking codes
  • Experience with Heatmaps (e.g., Hotjar, Lucky Orange, Clarity) and user session recording tools
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize)
  • Strong understanding of conversion funnels & optimizations them for better user experience
  • Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets for basic data analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities for site optimization

Bonus Skills

  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and how they impact CRO
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or liquid coding in Shopify
  • Experience with Shopify apps: smile.io, rise.ai, boost.ai etc
