The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who is not just proficient in coding, but a true craftsman of software. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and evolving robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for a variety of clients across different industries. What You'll Do:

• Architect and Develop: Lead the design and implementation of complex, custom distributed software systems, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
• Champion Clean Code & Architecture: Apply and advocate for SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code architecture, ensuring high standards of code quality across all projects.
• Embrace Extreme Programming (XP): Actively participate in and champion XP practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers. Mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared ownership.
• Problem Solve: Tackle challenging technical problems with innovative and pragmatic solutions, always prioritizing customer success and measurable outcomes.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to our collective knowledge base and continuously honing your craft.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development, with a significant focus on building custom, enterprise-grade applications.
• Java Mastery: Deep expertise in the Java ecosystem, including Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.) and related technologies.
• Architectural Acumen: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), and distributed system patterns.
• Database Proficiency: Experience with various database technologies (e.g., SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Cloud Native: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
• Quality First: A strong commitment to quality assurance, including automated testing, performance tuning, and security best practices.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within a team and with clients.
• Passion for XP: A genuine enthusiasm for Extreme Programming practices and a desire to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
