Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Tech Expert : Web Scraping to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative web scraping solutions to gather valuable data from various websites. You will leverage your programming skills and knowledge of web technologies to extract and organize the data in a clean and usable format.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust and scalable web scraping scripts using Python or another suitable programming language.

- Analyze complex websites and identify the most efficient and effective methods to extract the desired data.

- Utilize web scraping libraries like BeautifulSoup or Selenium to automate data collection and processing.

- Clean, validate, and organize the scraped data for further analysis or use.

- Maintain and optimize existing web scraping pipelines.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest web scraping techniques, technologies, and best practices.

- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address data-related challenges.

- Document your work clearly and concisely.


Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Python or another programming language commonly used for web scraping (e.g., Java, Ruby).

- In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Extensive experience working with web scraping libraries (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium preferred).

- Familiarity with web development concepts and best practices.

- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems creatively.

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Bonus Points :

- Experience with APIs and data extraction methods.

- Experience with data cleaning and manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas).

- Understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to web scraping.
