OverviewThe Radiologist Consultant MD/ DNB / DMRD plays a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic interpretations and guiding clinical decisions in the field of diagnostic imaging. This role is essential in assessing and diagnosing medical conditions injuries and diseases through the use of medical imaging technologies. The Radiologist Consultant collaborates with medical teams to interpret imaging results and provide expert insights for effective patient care and treatment planning. This position is based in Kathua Jammu and requires a deep understanding of advanced imaging modalities and their diagnostic applications.Key responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays CT scans MRIs ultrasounds and other advanced imaging modalities.
  • Provide accurate and timely diagnostic interpretations of medical imaging results.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to discuss and interpret imaging findings.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiology reports and maintain comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings to discuss imaging findings and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Train and supervise radiology technologists and support staff.
  • Contribute to research and academic activities in the field of radiology and diagnostic imaging.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and education to maintain expertise in the field of radiology.
Required qualifications
  • MD / DNB / DMRD or equivalent degree in Radiology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid state medical license and board certification in Radiology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologist in a clinical setting.
  • Expertise in interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging modalities.
  • Strong clinical decisionmaking abilities and excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using advanced medical imaging technology and software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with medical teams and patients.
  • Excellent knowledge of radiology procedures safety protocols and radiation protection.
  • Proven track record of delivering highquality and accurate diagnostic interpretations.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Experience in leading and supervising a team of radiology technologists and support staff.
  • Active participation in research academic or clinical projects related to radiology.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of radiology.
  • Sound understanding of ethical principles and confidentiality in patient care and medical practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced clinical environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
