CAE Material Engineer

Job Title: CAE Material Engineer – Airbag SimulationJob Summary The CAE Material Engineer will work on engineering problems related toairbag simulationsby analyzing material testing data for airbag fabrics/textiles. The role involves creating accurate material models, developing property relationships, validating models at specimen and subsystem levels, and preparing detailed material characterization reports. The engineer will be responsible for delivering material models aligned with engineering team requirements and supporting global simulation initiatives.Core Responsibilities Strong knowledge ofFEA structural analysis. Experience withHyperWorksandLS-DYNAis mandatory. Basic working knowledge ofPAMCRASHandABAQUS. Strong proficiency inMS Exceland data handling. Good understanding ofCAE material modelingconcepts. Knowledge ofairbag simulationsis preferred. Experience inautomotive componentsis an added advantage. Additional certifications or qualifications related to CAE/Materials are beneficial. Programming abilities and experience usingAI toolsfor pre/post-processing are advantages.Functional Competencies FEA Tools:LS-DYNA, ABAQUS, PAMCRASH MS Office tools Advanced proficiency inMS Excel Personal Characteristics Enabling Success High self-confidence Effective team collaboration Quick and independent learner Education B.E./M.E./M.Techin Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Certifications / Accreditations Any certifications related toEngineering Materialsor CAE tools are advantageous. Work Experience 3–6 yearsof relevant experience in CAE/material modeling. Experience in theautomotive domainis an added advantage. Languages Englishis mandatory. Knowledge of any foreign language is an added advantage.
