Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory issues- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and drive timely implementation- Manage disputes and support litigation strategies in coordination with external counsel- Ensure compliance with data privacy, intellectual property, and related laws- Design, implement, and run a robust compliance framework (policies, SOPs, monitoring)- Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and remediation activities- Manage regulatory filings, inspections, and engagement with authorities- Oversee anti- bribery, anti- corruption, and whistleblowing mechanisms- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs- Support corporate secretarial functions: board meetings, statutory filings, coordination- Identify legal & compliance risks in new business initiatives and propose mitigation- Participate in internal risk assessments and advise on remediationQualifications & Experience:- LLB/LLM and CS (mandatory)- 15-20 years of post- qualification experience, with strong exposure to compliance frameworks- Deep understanding of corporate, labor, data privacy, and anti- corruption laws- Proven ability to influence, lead, and manage legal/compliance at a senior level (ref:iimjobs.com)
