Job Description :


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, and hands-on experience with Big Data technologies.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.


- Work with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, Hive, and MapReduce.


- Develop and optimize Spark/PySpark jobs for data transformation and processing.


- Write efficient and reusable code using Python for data integration and automation.


- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL and HiveQL.


- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.


- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all pipelines.

Mandatory Skills :


- Big Data ecosystem tools and frameworks


- Hadoop and Hive


- Apache Spark / PySpark


- Python programming


- Strong experience in SQL for data querying and manipulation
