Job Profile Overview:


The Project Head will lead and manage projects for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical equipment/systems. The role demands strong leadership, detailed execution, and collaborative coordination to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction. 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This ensures familiarity with industry-specific processes, equipment types, and challenges with proven experience leading large-scale projects, preferably within equipment/system manufacturing. Experience should include all phases of a project life cycle.


Key Responsibilities :


1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects from concept to completion.

2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, production, and quality assurance.

3. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

4. Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.

5. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.

6. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and processes.

8. Oversee installation and commissioning at client sites, if necessary.

9. Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.


Skills:


1. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.

2. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget.

3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

4. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).

5. PMP certification is a plus.

6. Ability to travel as required.

7. Strong leadership skills to drive project teams, including engineers, designers, and production staff, toward achieving goals.

8. Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions.

9. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations, such as FDA and GMP standards, ensuring compliance throughout the project.

10. Skills in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

11. Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

12. Strong analytical skills to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

13. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD), and familiarity with ERP systems.


Certifications:


1. PMP Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable, indicating formal training and commitment to project management best practices.

2. Lean/Six Sigma: Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma can be beneficial, showing expertise in process improvement and efficiency.
