We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Architect to lead the architecture and design phase of a project for migrating a retail client's SAP systems from Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design: Design and implement the target architecture for migrating SAP systems from Azure to GCP, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the migration team, including SAP Functional Consultants, SAP Technical Consultants, and Cloud Engineers.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of the current SAP landscape on Azure and develop detailed migration plans and strategies.
  • Integration and Deployment: Oversee the integration and deployment of SAP applications and databases on GCP, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the migration process.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of SAP systems on GCP by configuring resources and tuning system parameters.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth migration process.
  • Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation of the architecture and migration process, and provide training and support to the team and client as needed.
