We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SAP EHS Consultant with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our client's team in Dubai.

This role is focused on providing expert support for their comprehensive SAP EHS solution within the Oil & Gas sector.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of core EHS components, regulatory frameworks, and experience in managing client communications and project timelines effectively.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the client's EHS landscape, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide expert functional and technical support for the core SAP EHS solution, including:

1. Support processes related to incident recording, investigation, reporting, and corrective actions.

2. Assist in maintaining and enhancing risk assessment and management functionalities.

3. Support the configuration and use of audit planning, execution, and reporting.

4. Provide support for environmental compliance, emissions tracking, and waste management processes.

5. Support the digital management of work permits and associated safety procedures.

6. Assist in the configuration and support of processes for managing organizational, operational, or technical changes.

- Functional Expertise : Apply strong functional knowledge of SAP EHS components and relevant industry regulations to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and guide users.

- Regulatory Compliance : Demonstrate a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks such as REACH, OSHA, GHS, and other relevant environmental, health, and safety standards, ensuring the system supports compliance.

- System Integration : Provide support for the integration of SAP EHS with other SAP modules (e.g, HR, MM, PM, QM) to ensure data consistency and process flow.

- Client Communication & Project Management : Effectively manage client communications, understand their needs, provide timely updates, and adhere to project timelines for support activities and minor enhancements.

- Problem Solving & Analysis : Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex EHS system issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation for support processes, solutions, and configurations.

Requirements :

Experience : 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience in SAP EHS module implementation and/or support roles.

- Core EHS Knowledge : In-depth functional knowledge and hands-on experience supporting SAP EHS components, specifically: Incident Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Environment Management, Permit to Work, and Management of Change (MOC).

- Regulatory Understanding : Good understanding of global and regional regulatory frameworks relevant to EHS (e.g, REACH, OSHA, GHS).

- SAP Integration : Proven experience in integrating SAP EHS with other core SAP modules.

- Client Management : Demonstrated ability to effectively manage client communications, gather requirements, and manage project timelines.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.

- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Industry Experience : Prior experience working with clients in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.

- SAP S/4HANA : Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly EHS on S/4HANA, is a significant plus
