Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and talented Product Design Intern to join our Design Systems team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced designers, contributing to the development and maintenance of our design system. You’ll have the chance to create and refine visual and UX design elements that are essential for a consistent user experience across our products.


Key Responsibilities:


Assist in the creation, documentation, and maintenance of design system components.

Collaborate with product designers, product manager and engineers to ensure consistent application of the design system.

Contribute to visual design tasks including layout, typography, and hierarchy across multiple platforms.

Participate in user research and testing to inform design decisions and improvements to the design system.

Develop design mockups and prototypes to illustrate design concepts.

Support the team in ensuring that design system guidelines are followed in all product designs.


Requirements:


Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of design systems and their application in product design.

Proficiency in visual design, product design, and UX design principles.

Solid understanding of hierarchy, layout, and typography.

A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Must have an online portfolio showcasing your design work and process.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) is a plus.

Prior internship or project experience in a product design or design systems role.
