About The Role
- Own and be accountable for the delivery of multiple features.
- Build and maintain client infrastructure and products, as well as design and implement APIs needed for the same.
- Help scale our backend and/or frontend systems in a performant, secure, and reliable way.
- Partner with leaders from architecture, engineering management, and product management on project requirements, designs, and development plans.
- Help identify and develop ways to improve our team's productivity and efficiency by expanding on our existing tools and processes.
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of frameworks and backend and/or frontend components.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, helping to develop their technical skills, communication, and careers.
- Participate in the on-call rotation of the team, where you'll have the opportunity to work on real customer incidents and improve on that.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 3 years with a Master's in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience designing and implementing backend microservices using GoLang/Python/Docker/Terraform.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud infrastructure backend best practices, as well as experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in the implementation of complex technical architectures with a team.
- Deep knowledge of distributed computing architectures and principles that solve for scalability, consistency, availability, performance, and reliability.
- Experience with frontend technologies, including but not limited to React, Angular, or Vue.js, and familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for building modern, responsive user interfaces.
- Strong background in Agile DevOps engineering environments that effectively use CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Familiarity with full-stack development, understanding the integration between backend and frontend systems, and ability to collaborate across both layers.
- Proficiency with tools and frameworks for testing both backend services (e.g., unit testing, integration testing) and frontend components (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
