About the Client :The company has been a global leader in delivering cutting-edge in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) solutions for over 40 years.About the Role :Position : Lead Python AutomationExperience : 8 - 13 YearsLocation : Pune (Hinjewadi Phase 1) - WFOSynopsis :We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer 4 (Automation Engineer) with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline software testing processes.Key Responsibilities :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and automation strategies.- Design and implement automated test scripts to ensure software quality.- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.- Troubleshoot issues to ensure accurate test results.- Stay updated with automation trends and best practices.- As an SDE 4, lead and support the team in driving automation initiatives.Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 8+ years of automation experience with strong Python, unit testing, API integration, and third-party libraries.- Strong knowledge of Linux Systems, particularly in Networking- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing, including Framework Architecture- Experience in Backend Performance Testing with a focus on Automation Architecture- Knowledge of shell scripting, networking, troubleshooting, and Selenium WebDriver.- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.- On-site work is mandatory; WFH only in exceptional cases.
