Job Description

Job Purpose:


Responsible for end to end closing and reporting of financial numbers. Ensuring the correctness & accuracy of the financial reporting for the assigned entities by taking complete ownership of the close process & reporting process supported by Financial Reporting team.

Shift Timing – UK Shift - 1PM to 10M IST.


Job Background/context:


Financial Reporting – Month end and Quarter end close for entities based incorporated in UK.



Key Responsibilities:


• Ensure that closing & reporting requirement are to be delivered accurately, on time , to the required standards and compliant with relevant policies and procedures

• Ensure process are adequately documented and clearly understood.

• Key deliverables include Data Integrity reviews, Analyzing Profit & Loss A/c & Balance Sheet numbers ensuring control over the monthly movements and analysis of the key drivers.

• Prepare and post the accounting entries required for the correct financial reporting.

• Preparing & reviewing the US GAAP reporting requirement applicable for the assigned entities and building & strengthening the internal control mechanism.

• Ensuring all the reporting time lines are adhered with respect to the reporting requirements from US GAAP perspective.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in Financial Close and Reporting.

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Preferred - Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master in Business Administration (MBA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent combination of education required

• Working knowledge of related financial regulations

• Self-motivated and detail oriented

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Advance Excel skills – Finance System knowledge preferred.
