Role SummaryThe Executive/Senior Executive – Payroll will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for store and corporate employees, ensuring 100% accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely disbursement. The role demands strong attention to detail, good knowledge of labour laws, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess monthly payroll for store, warehouse, and HO employees.Validate attendance, leave data, overtime, shift details, and variable inputs.Ensure accurate salary computation, arrears, bonus, and F&F settlements.Coordinate with the Finance team for payroll disbursement.Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Minimum Wages.Prepare and upload statutory challans, returns, and reports on portals.Handle inspections, audits, and statutory queries with proper documentation.Maintain payroll MIS — headcount, salary cost, overtime reports, absenteeism, etc.Generate month-end payroll reports for management.Update and maintain employee records in HRMS.Address payroll-related queries from employees and store HR.Assist employees with PF withdrawals, UAN activation, ESIC cards, etc.Handle salary corrections and issue salary certificates when required.Work closely with HRBPs for attendance and shift validations.Liaise with IT for HRMS-related issues and improvements.Key Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances.Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced).Experience with HRMS/payroll software.High accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Good communication and coordination skills.QualificationGraduateExperienceAt least 2 years of experience in Payroll.
