Within the Client Computing Group, we are bringing disruptive technology to the personal computing ecosystem. Our RYZEN branded products are designed for the most demanding developers, artists, and gamers - people who demand responsiveness and power efficiency from their PC. RYZEN stormed the market in 2017 and continues to excite people across the globe. As an OEM Business Development Manager, your primary mission will be to support a Client OEM account by managing the product platform lifecycle (market analysis, NB/DT design in, supervising platform development stages, and sell out), assisting in quarterly business reporting, and driving customer interactions/support to grow AMD share. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive & Grow AMD SMB business Manager design-in cycle with Major OEM's Monitor multiple OEM platforms through the entire program cycle Build strong relationships with OEM SMB team & identify key growth areas Work towards building strong channel relationships, frameworks & business Ability to develop and drive business strategies Managing changes and issues with the stakeholders Leverage appropriate internal/external organizations to resolve issues Documentation of business plans, including volume, mix, revenue, margin, and market share Market research and interaction with the customer to understand market trends Contingency and/or alternatives planning for possible market shifts PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Pre-existing understanding of the PC market, with an emphasis on OEM/MNC PC makers Strong Channel background & knowledge of the IT landscape Exceptional time-management skills - ability to handle multiple ongoing projects/initiatives Ability to quickly create effective strategies with imperfect or insufficient datasets Strong organizational skills - Ability to work across a large organization and get things done Executive-level presentation and communication skills - ability to speak with confidence Ability to work under intense pressure ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 10+ years in a fast-paced business planning or strategy role - high tech experience preferred BS and/or MS degree in Business Management, Finance, or Engineering from a top-tier university MBA is a strong plus. #LI-NS2 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
