SR Asia also prepares CSR Annual Reports, ESG Reporting, BRSR for SEBI, Task Force on Climate- related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), GRI standards, Sustainability Reports and Assurance Services as per AA1000AS, ISA 3000 and ISO 26000. SR Asia is a leading third-party agency for M&E and Impact Assessment for various government policies and projects.

Name of the Project:Assurance of Sustainability Report and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) Core

Qualification Required:

·       Masters in Sustainability or environmental science, with minimum 5 years of work experience in Assurance of Sustainability Report and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) Core. 

·       Must have knowledge in these frameworks- GRI/BRSR/CDP/TCFD/NVG

·       Must have done at least 1-2 assurance services independently

Key tasks to be performed/ Deliverables:  

1.     Reporting Boundary of Assurance: The boundary for Assurance of Sustainability Report and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) core 

2.     Limited Assurance of Sustainability Report: The objective of the engagement is to provide a limited assurance to Sustainability Report in accordance to the relevant standards such as International Standards of Assurance Engagement (ISAE) 3000/ Standard on Sustainable Assurance (SSAE) 3000 or Standard on Assurance Engagements (SAE) 3410 as per direction of EIC and issue a “Limited Assurance Statement on Sustainability Report 

3.     Reasonable Assurance of BRSR Core: The objective is to provide a reasonable assurance to BRSR core in accordance to the relevant standards such as International Standards of Assurance Engagement (ISAE) 3000/ Standard on Sustainable Assurance (SSAE) 3000 or Standard on Assurance Engagements (SAE) 3410 as per direction of EIC and issue a “Reasonable Assurance Statement on BRSR Core 

4.     Limited Assurance of Value Chain Partners: The objective of the engagement is to provide a limited assurance to BRSR core in respect of Value Chain Partners (VCP) in accordance with latest BRSR guidelines and relevant Standards, as per direction of EIC. 

5.     Assessment of the consistency between the data for the performance indicators in Sustainability Report and BRSR Core.

6.     Review of the Sustainability Report and BRSR Core of FY 2023-24 and 2024-25 for any major anomalies between the information reported and relevant source data/information. 

7.     The candidate shall review the execution of that strategy in terms of proper performance measurement, proper target setting and proper governance and accountability pertaining to material issues and stakeholder issues 

8.     Review of data streams, to determine the level of accuracy of statements in the report, and the reliability of specified sustainability performance – Non-Financial Disclosure Assurance required as per relevant standards. 

9.     Execution of an audit trail of data streams, to determine the level of accuracy in collection, transcription and aggregation 

10.  Review of the plans, policies and practices, pertaining to the disclosures and commitments so as to comment on the fairness of Reporting of the company. 

11.  Development of Management Reports / Gap Assessment Reports based on the desktop analysis / sample survey / testing etc. at sites 

12.  Ensuring if reports are providing a balanced and reasonable representation of the organization’s contributions towards the goal of sustainable development. 

13.  The candidate may visit to sites as per requirement for successful accomplishment of assurance on Sustainability Report and BRSR core. 

14.  The candidate shall deliver engagement plan (timeline) and reports on Gap Analysis with suggestions for improvement of the processes/practices.
