Job Title: Junior/Mid-level AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior/Mid-level AWS DevOps Engineer. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks that include software development, infrastructure management, cloud computing, Linux administration, and databases. This is a hybrid role, based in Indore with flexibility for remote work.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline and automate the software development and deployment processes.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure delivery of software.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Assist in the management and orchestration of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Maintain security best practices across all systems and processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, preferably with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate or similar certification.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
