Role-VP – Connectivity (Practice Head – Connectivity Line of Business)

Function / Department - Connectivity, Biz Comm & Solution Sales

Location - Mumbai

Job Purpose

To own the "Fixed line data" P&L and to lead the transformation of Vi's wireline and enterprise connectivity business into a future-fit, converged services portfolio by integrating connectivity (both private and public) with security and managed services. The role owns the full product P&L and drives growth through strategy, product innovation, and cross-functional execution.

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for all connectivity services (e.g., MPLS, DIA, NPLC, IPLC, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, managed services) and evolve it toward integrated solutions with security and cloud.
  • Drive 3X revenue growth and 2X market share expansion in the enterprise segment over the next 5 years.
  • Enable field force (enterprise sales + channel) through productized GTM and sales enablement programs.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with solutioning, pricing, delivery, customer servicing and BI to enhance time-to-market and service quality.
  • Build and coach a high-performance product, solution architecture, and delivery team.
  • Develop relevant partnerships.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Domain knowledge in wireline / enterprise connectivity and adjacent technologies (e.g. SD-WAN, FWA, cloud connectivity)
  • Proven success in P&L and business ownership with revenue and margin accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation — product convergence, commercial redesign, new GTM models
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across product, sales, solutioning, network and delivery
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate technology trends into commercial opportunities

Must-have Technical / Professional Qualifications

  • Engineering graduate (preferably Electronics / Telecommunications)
  • MBA or General Management program from a reputed institution (preferred, not mandatory)
