Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Middle School English Teacher to handle Grades 6, 7, and 8 . The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language , expertise in grammar, literature, creative writing, and spoken English , and the ability to engage middle school students with innovative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language & Literature for Grades 6, 7, and 8 as per the CBSE curriculum .
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that enhance reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
  • Foster critical thinking, comprehension, and analytical skills through literature discussions and activities.
  • Encourage creative writing and spoken English through debates, public speaking, storytelling, and essay writing .
  • Use technology-driven teaching methods to make learning interactive and effective.
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback to help students improve their language proficiency.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and an encouraging learning environment that promotes student participation.
  • Organize literary activities, reading clubs, essay competitions, and school events related to English.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and management to enhance the English language program .
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development .

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: B.A./M.A. in English with B.Ed.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of teaching English at the middle school level (CBSE experience preferred ).
  • Skills:
  • Strong foundation in grammar, literature, creative writing, and spoken English .
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for student engagement and interactive learning .
  • Proficiency in technology-enhanced teaching methodologies .
  • Ability to mentor and guide students for competitions, Olympiads, and academic excellence.
