We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Furniture Draughtman/ Furniture CAD Designer with deep technical expertise and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional eye for detail, expertise in SolidWorks and a deep understanding of furniture construction, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings ready for production.Key Responsibilities- Create detailed technical and shop drawings for custom, luxury furniture pieces. - Collaborate closely with interior designers and production teams to ensure design intent and technical feasibility. - Specify materials, hardware, and finishes based on design and functionality. - Conduct on-site measurements and coordinate with vendors/workshops for execution accuracy. - Ensure alignment between design aesthetics and technical practicality.Skills & Experience Required✨ Minimum 7 years of experience in furniture drafting and technical design.✨ Strong understanding of furniture joinery, materials, and fabrication processes.✨ Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and technical drawing software.✨ Ability to interpret and convert conceptual sketches into production-ready drawings.✨ Excellent spatial understanding, precision, and problem-solving ability.✨ Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.About TIS LivingAt TIS Living, we blend artistry with engineering — crafting bespoke luxury furniture that’s joyful, intentional, and timeless.
