About the Role :

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Project Manager to join our team in Mumbai.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player with a strong understanding of software development and financial markets.

You will act as the technical subject expert and report directly to the Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities :

- Control and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

- Develop and manage project plans, communication plans, resource plans, and processes.

- Track project progress and milestones, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.

- Ensure quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Define roles and responsibilities for team members and ensure clear deliverables.

- Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including task assignments and personnel reviews.

- Train engineering teams on product requirements, product functionality, and technical specifications.

- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

- Meet regularly with project stakeholders, both internal and external, to define project goals and objectives.

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.

- Manage client interactions and ensure client satisfaction.

- Analyze management and technical processes to ensure projects are delivered as expected.

- Research and evaluate new hardware and software technologies best suited for projects and products.

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the development team.

- Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

- Optimize resource utilization and manage project budgets.

- Schedule project timelines and ensure timely delivery.

- Implement and utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in programming with exposure to any of C++, Java, C#, or similar languages.

- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

- Familiarity with database systems and network protocols.

- Ability to evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions.

- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies ( Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).

- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.

- Ability to track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.

- Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts is highly desirable.

Experience :

- Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering or project management within the financial markets industry.
