Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 57 years of strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools, advanced SQL, and DBT (Data Build Tool) to transform, model, and deliver high-quality data for business and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured/unstructured data from multiple sources.

- Build and maintain data models and transformations using DBT to ensure accuracy, reusability, and scalability.

- Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for data transformation and validation.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure integrity and reliability of datasets.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.) for data integration and transformation.

- Ensure best practices in data governance, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

- Troubleshoot ETL performance issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure data pipeline efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5- 7 years of total experience in ETL development and data engineering.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in :

1. ETL tools/processes (designing and developing pipelines).

2. Advanced SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, performance tuning).

3. DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.

- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.

- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).

- Good knowledge of Python or scripting languages for automation is a plus.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools.

- Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.

- Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
