About the Role We are seeking an experiencedFire Protection Design Engineerswith expertise infire protection systems ,fire suppression systems , andfire safety engineeringforGas Turbine and Accessories . The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge ofNFPA standards ,ISO codes , and hands-on experience in designing, estimating, and implementing fire protection systems for industrial applications.Key Responsibilities Attendkick-off meetingsand finalize fire protection engineering requirements. Understand project requirements, raise technical clarifications, and preparetechnical and commercial proposalsfor fire protection systems. Conduct investigations for variousfire extinguishing systems , including: Clean agent systems Inert gas systems Carbon dioxide systems Wet chemical systems Water mist systems Aerosol systems Develop detailed specifications forfire protection systems ,fire suppression systems , and related equipment. Deliver system design baseline and ensure all technical deliverables meet quality standards. Preparefire protection system layouts ,CAD drawings ,schematics (P&ID) , electrical diagrams, instrumentation lists, BOM, and documentation. Provide technical support for fire protection system projects and field modifications. Implementfire safety codes and regulations(NFPA, ISO, etc.). Design and estimate: Gas suppression systems (foam, water mist) Water-based systems (sprinkler, mist, high-velocity water) Fire alarm systems Fire extinguishers Fire detectors (IR and UV detectors) Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, sourcing teams, drafting teams, and electrical teams. Work with customer project engineers to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems. Stay updated on latestfire protection technologies ,fire safety codes , andfire suppression innovations .Required Skills Strong expertise inFire Protection Systems ,Fire Suppression Systems , andFire Safety Engineering . Proficient inAutoCADor other CAD tools for fire protection system design. Knowledge ofpower plant componentsand their functioning. Familiarity withNFPA standards ,ISO codes , and fire safety regulations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Candidates with Fire Protection specialization or relevant experience in industrial projects will be considered
