Position Overview

The Data Analyst - Trends and Compliance role will focus on analyzing and optimizing our medicines and healthcare products listed on the HealthSy platform. This role doesn’t require coding skills but demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of healthcare product data. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring price trends, performing competitor analysis, managing product delisting, and helping to shape our pricing and discount strategies. The Data Analyst will ensure our product pages are accurate, up-to-date, and informative for HealthSy’s users.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Medicine Data Analysis:

  • Regularly review and analyze data related to medicines and healthcare products, including attributes, descriptions, classifications, and any recent changes in status.
  • Track MRP (Maximum Retail Price) fluctuations and changes in product availability, collaborating with the procurement and pricing teams.


2. Price and Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct competitive analysis of medicine and healthcare product prices on other platforms, identifying pricing trends, discounts, and promotional offers.
  • Help build and refine HealthSy’s pricing and discount strategy, ensuring competitive and user-friendly pricing.
  • Provide insights on pricing adjustments to align with market trends and user demand, maximizing both accessibility and profitability.


3. Delisting & Compliance:

  • Monitor regulatory updates to identify any banned or discontinued molecules and promptly initiate delisting procedures as needed.
  • Ensure all products on the platform comply with safety and regulatory standards, working closely with the compliance team to keep our product offerings accurate and lawful.


4. Content Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular audits of product detail pages to ensure all information, such as dosage, uses, side effects, and precautions, is correct, complete, and user-friendly.
  • Work with content and quality assurance teams to flag inaccuracies, omissions, or inconsistencies in product listings.


5. Support in Pricing Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the pricing team to develop data-driven discounting strategies that enhance user engagement while maintaining profitability.
  • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of current pricing and discounting strategies, recommending adjustments based on user behavior and market changes.


6.Reporting and Insights:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, pricing trends, competitor actions, and any changes in compliance.
  • Use data visualization tools to present insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Recommend actionable insights to support business objectives, focusing on increasing user satisfaction and competitive positioning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality and compliance.
