Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer

Description :

We are seeking a Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake, contributing to data strategy, and ensuring performance :

- Design, develop, and implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.

- Optimize and tune Snowflake performance for large-scale data processing.

- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Implement data governance and security best practices in Snowflake.

- Monitor and maintain Snowflake environments to ensure high availability and performance.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ingest data into Snowflake from various sources.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications :

- 9-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and architecture.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data transformation tools like dbt.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data integration tools.

- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation.

- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
