About the Role- CNC Turning Setter cum Operator
The role incumbent for CNC Turning Setter cum Operator should have
- 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Turning Setter cum Operator
- Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens, turning (Mandatory skill)
- Extensive knowledge of tooling selection to optimize machining processes
- Experience with turning / Turn mill center machines
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, 5s Knowledge, and maintaining a clean work environment
Roles And Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision components.
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments as per job requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to achieve precision tolerances.
- Perform program adjustments and offsets on CNC machines to meet job specifications.
- Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, bore gauges).
- Ensure adherence to AS9100 or ISO quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Maintain records of machining operations, inspection results, and daily production logs.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure tools are in optimal condition.
- Work closely with the quality and production teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

About the Role - CNC Milling Setter cum Operator
The role incumbent should have
- Proven experience as a CNC Milling Setter Cum Operator in the aerospace or precision engineering industry
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling, and programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls)
- Familiarity with high-precision machining techniques and materials (Aluminum, titanium, Inconel)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up CNC milling machines for production according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials
- Program CNC milling machines using G-code or CAM software
- Operate machines efficiently while monitoring performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct first-off inspections and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform regular quality checks using tools such as micrometers, Calipers, and understand the CMM reports.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or potential improvements to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of production data, tooling setups, and part measurements
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams to achieve production targets and resolve challenges.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering
