Job Title : Automation Tester
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java for web application testing.
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured to validate functionality, performance, and security of RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage across web and API layers.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing automation frameworks and tools to support both web and API testing.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to test automation and API testing.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, along with strong object-oriented design skills.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Keyword-Driven).
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured to validate RESTful APIs.
