Position: Talend Developer

Location: Pune and Chennai Only

Exp: 3 to 5 Years

Notice: Immediate to 30 Days


Mandatory Certification: Certified Talend/Abinitio Developer


Associate must have good hands-on knowledge in ETL Development tool Talend/Abinitio.

At Least 3+ years of development experience in Talend/Abinitio.

Good knowledge on data warehousing.

Good SQL knowledge and query tuning.

Performance tuning

Working experience in Agile development model. Prior experience of working in scrum.

Good knowledge in Unix and shell scripting.

Banking domain knowledge is preferable.

Design experience in ETL technology.

Autosys experience is preferred.

Good-to-Have

Data Modeling

PL/SQL and Unix

Big data (Hive)

Data warehousing fundamentals and concepts

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Design high quality deliverables adhering to business requirement with defined standards and design principles, patterns

2 Develop and maintain highly scalable, high performance ETL applications using Talend/Abinitio

3 Develop/Integrate the code adhering to CI/CD, using Maven and uDeploy

4 Provide solutions to ETL problems dealing with huge volumes of data. Handling XML and JSON formats.

5 Worked with MQ / Tibco queue mechanism

6 Should be able to work with a team who might be geographically distributed. Review the code modules developed by other juniors.

7 Should take part in deployment activities and have knowledge on scheduling tools like Autosys

8 Should have work experience working in Agile Methodology

9 Should be able to analyze the existing codes to resolve Production issues
