Under the leadership of founder and chairman Mr. Sammy Nanwani, the company extends its expertise in textiles, film production, hospitality, and other fields.About the RoleWe are seeking an experiencedLitigation Lawyerwith a strong background inreal estate and developer-related legal matters . The ideal candidate will possess substantial courtroom experience along with deep expertise in property law, title due diligence, documentation, and compliance for large-scale real estate projects. This role involves working closely with developers, senior counsel, and internal stakeholders to manage litigation, vet and draft legal documents, provide opinions, and ensure smooth legal operations across projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation & Dispute Resolution Independently handle civil litigation before the High Court, Subordinate Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts, Consumer Forums, Tribunals, and Quasi-Judicial Authorities. Assist Senior Counsel in case preparation, briefing, and legal strategy. Prepare pleadings, affidavits, written statements, and arguments. Manage dispute resolution througharbitration, mediation, and conciliation . Legal Documentation & Drafting Draft, vet, and reviewJoint Development Agreements (JDAs), Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, MOUs, and Corporate Contracts . Preparelegal notices, deeds, letters, and opinionson property matters. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, includingRERA, FEMA, and the Companies Act . Due Diligence & Title Verification Conduct detailedtitle due diligenceand verification of property documents. Provide clear, structuredlegal opinionson land acquisition, ownership, and development. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for project approvals and legal clearances. Corporate & Regulatory Liaison Interact withGovernment Departments/Authorities , Senior Advocates, and Company Executives on legal and compliance issues. Manage regulatory approvals, registrations, and project compliance documentation. Client & Stakeholder Management Address customer-related queries in all forms (verbal, written, and digital). Support internal teams on contract compliance, risk assessment, and dispute management.Qualifications & ExperienceLL.B (mandatory); LL.M or specialization in Property/Corporate Law preferred. 6+ years in active civil litigation practice , and preferably with real estate developers). Strong exposure toproperty law, real estate transactions, title due diligence , andcourt practice . Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to handle multi-crore transactions and complex legal structures.Preferred SkillsReal Estate Law & Land Acquisition Civil & Criminal Litigation Arbitration & Mediation Legal Drafting & Documentation RERA, FEMA & Companies Act Compliance Title Due Diligence & Property Documentation Corporate Leasing & Conveyancing
