Job Description :


We're looking for a talented and passionate Junior Web Developer to join our growing team In this role, you'll play a key role in the exciting evolution of our web presence. You'll leverage your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React) and Node. js to develop and maintain our web applications, while also contributing to the migration of our legacy PHP codebase.

Responsibilities :

1. Full-Stack Development :

- Develop and maintain web applications using React and Node.js.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.

- Migrate existing PHP functionalities to the new JavaScript stack, ensuring seamless integration and smooth user experience.

- Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to bring new features to life.

2. Optimization & Performance :

- Implement strategies to optimize application performance for speed and scalability.

- Partner with the design team to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

3. Code Quality & Maintainability :

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to established coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.

- Debug and troubleshoot applications to resolve technical issues efficiently.

4. Continuous Learning :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies (JavaScript frameworks, libraries).

- Actively participate in learning opportunities to continuously expand your technical skillset.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 2+ years of professional experience as a web developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your abilities.

In-depth proficiency in :

- Frontend : React (including state management libraries like Redux or MobX)

- Backend : Node.js, Express.js

- Databases : Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend development principles.

- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Babel), version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines (a plus).

- Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions.
