Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Supervisor at Storekaro.com® in Bengaluru. The responsibility encompasses entire logistics lifecycle and Warehouse operations; including, but not limited to planning, procurement, inventory control, and distribution. The role requires working towards strengthening & expanding the organisation's logistics supply chain and manage Warehouse Operations.

The role and responsibility includes:

• Effectively manage Storekaro.com®’s Storage Warehouses in Bengaluru and establish effective working procedures
• Maintaining fruitful business relationships with Logistics Partners, Raw Material Suppliers and Space Partners
• Perform the task of space advisor by visiting the potential customers for space estimation and communicate the same with Logistics and Operations Manager to estimate accurate space calculation and logistics cost involved in an assignment
• Researching the storage and warehousing requirements of customers and help the Logistics and Operations Manager in making effective decisions for effective usage of space and optimize pickup, packaging and storage costs
• Effectively manage skilled/ unskilled workforce and subordinates to ensure the highest quality service to Storekaro.com®’s customers and achievement of operating margin objectives
• Ensures all jobs are properly performed with appropriate human and transportation resources to ensure the highest level of quality, efficiency and safety to both resource and goods being managed
• Maintain the records for all Customer Inventory managed at Storekaro.com®'s warehouses and assist in regular inventory counting within the warehouse

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills
• 3-5 Years of relevant experience in managing Warehouse Operations
• Knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Last Mile Delivery, Distribution and Fulfilment Centres' Management (experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Material Handling
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management is beneficial
