Role Overview:

As a Java Full Stack Engineering Manager in the Banking domain, you will lead a team of talented engineers in developing and delivering complex, high-performance applications. You will leverage your deep expertise in Java/J2EE and full-stack development to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of projects within the banking sector. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, project management, and a strong understanding of banking industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java Full Stack developers.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development.

- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex Java/J2EE applications.

- Ensure adherence to software best practices, including refactoring, clean code, domain-driven design, and encapsulation.

- Drive the adoption of microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.

- Act as a Java SME and Solution Architect, providing technical guidance and expertise.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers.

- Ensure seamless integration with diverse systems and platforms.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Conduct thorough analysis and design reviews to ensure solutions meet business needs.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new tools and techniques.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Apply a strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Ensure solutions comply with relevant security and compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 13+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.

- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.

- Strong expertise in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.

- Extensive experience with Spring/Hibernate frameworks.

- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.

- Strong understanding of software best practices (refactoring, clean code, domain-driven design).

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

- Independent and self-motivated with a zeal to learn new technologies.

- Java developer certification.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
