Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in short-form video editing with a clear sense of pacing and structure
  • Ability to deliver quick turnarounds (ideally within 1–2 business days for first cuts)
  • Experience with sound design, music selection, and integrating basic motion graphics
  • Comfortable working from customer-provided footage
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and adapting edits accordingly
  • Bonus: Background in working on educational or list-style content

Deliverables:

  • 30–60 second video edits optimized for YouTube Shorts and social
  • Occasional 15–30 second edits for social-first formats
  • Edits should be visually engaging with minimal dead space
  • Able to work with a single round of review, with final delivery within 5 business days

Collaboration:

  • Work alongside a small internal customer team that handles filming
