Position: Digital Marketing Intern

Role Overview:


We are looking for a talented and driven Digital Marketing Intern to enhance our online presence, manage our brand reputation, and engage with our audience across digital platforms. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in Seclude’s digital strategy. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring our online reputation, running effective social media campaigns, optimizing SEO performance, and supporting outreach initiatives. This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and a passion for the hospitality industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Online Reputation & Brand Management:


  • Monitor and manage Seclude’s online presence on platforms such as Google reviews, Google Business Profile, and other review sites.
  • Assist in crafting strategies to boost positive customer reviews and mentions, while addressing any negative feedback professionally to improve brand perception.
  • Collaborate with the team to create content that aligns with Seclude’s brand voice and values.


Social Media (Content Creation, Graphic Design & Paid Advertising):


  • Assist in the creation, execution, and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads.
  • Develop engaging content and visuals for social media platforms to attract and retain followers.
  • Optimize ads through creative design, compelling copy, audience targeting, and effective keywords to maximize ROI and conversions.
  • Track performance metrics for all campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.


Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Work on optimizing Seclude’s website for search engines, including keyword research, meta tags, and content updates.
  • Monitor keyword performance and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings.
  • Support outreach efforts to build backlinks by establishing relationships with bloggers, influencers, and industry websites, increasing Seclude’s domain authority.


Content Marketing:

  • Assist in developing and executing a content calendar for blogs, social media, and newsletters to keep the audience engaged and informed about new developments at Seclude.
  • Write and curate blog posts focused on travel, luxury experiences, and property highlights to drive organic traffic.


Website Management & Analytics:

  • Collaborate with the website management team to ensure that all content is up-to-date, visually appealing, and SEO-optimized.
  • Monitor website traffic, using tools such as Google Analytics, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives.
  • Identify trends and insights to refine strategies and improve overall digital performance.


Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including the operations and reservations teams, to ensure all digital campaigns are aligned with Seclude’s goals.
  • Regularly report to the management team on progress, performance, and results of campaigns and initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, social media management, and digital advertising.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
  • Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience with online reputation management and digital outreach is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality or travel industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
