About the Role :

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans encompassing manual and automated testing methodologies.

- Lead the development and maintenance of robust test automation frameworks leveraging Katalon Studio.

- Conduct a variety of testing activities including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define test strategies and gather requirements.

- Identify and diagnose software defects, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.

- Integrate automated test scripts within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring continuous test coverage throughout the development lifecycle.

- Perform performance and API testing as needed, guaranteeing applications meet performance and reliability benchmarks.

- Mentor junior testers and share technical expertise on test automation best practices.

- Contribute to test planning, design, reporting, and the development of key quality metrics.

Required Technical Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing methodologies.

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.

- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and best practices.

- Experience conducting API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI and familiarity with REST and SOAP protocols.

- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g, JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g, Git).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with the SDLC.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo for automated test execution (a plus).

Required Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality software.

- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with mobile automation testing using Katalon Studio (a plus).

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner (a plus).

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as AWS or Azure (a plus).

- ISTQB Certified or similar testing certification (a plus)
