About the Role - Product Manager (Terminal Segment)This role will be responsible for creating a new product portfolio and vendor ecosystem for terminals. The Product Manager will define technical specifications, onboard OEMs and contract manufacturers, manage certifications, and coordinate product readiness for market launch.Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard global OEMs and contract manufacturers for Barcode, RFID, and Mobility devices.- Define product specifications, pricing strategy, and product roadmap.- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research.- Manage product testing, certification, and technical documentation.- Coordinate with BD and Sales teams for GTM planning and customer requirements.- Create datasheets, product manuals, and technical training material.- Manage vendor relationships, costing, and quality evaluation.- Track product lifecycle and plan continuous improvement initiatives.Key Performance Indicators- Number of OEM/ODM vendors onboarded.- Completion of product roadmap and launch timelines.- Cost optimization achieved through vendor negotiations.- Product readiness and certification compliance.- Contribution to initial sales enablement and product demos.Key Attributes & Technical Expertise- Strong understanding of AIDC hardware (Barcode, RFID, POS).- Vendor sourcing, costing, and contract negotiation.- Product lifecycle and technical documentation skills.- Familiarity with Taiwan/China vendor ecosystem.- Cross-functional coordination and project ownership mindset.- (ref:iimjobs.com)
