We are seeking skilled DTP (Desktop Publishing) Layout and Page Setters to join our team and assist in creating engaging and visually appealing educational content for K-8 books. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, expertise in layout software, and a passion for producing child-friendly educational materials.


Key Responsibilities


1. Layout Design

  • Create page layouts that are visually appealing, engaging, and appropriate for children books.
  • Ensure consistent formats throughout the book, including fonts, spacing and page numbers.
  • Imaginative incorporation of Images, Illustrations and Diagrams into the layout.


2. Collaborative Content Formatting

  • Format the text according to specific guidelines by editors.


3. Software Proficiency

  • Expert knowledge of DTP software such as Adobe, InDesign, Quark Express and Page Maker.
  • Familiar with other softwares like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for Image editing.


4. Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of printing processes and file formats (PDF etc.)


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent Organizational Behaviour and Time Management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of team.
  • Experience in working with children books as educational material is a plus.
