ETL Test Engineer

Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks.- Design, create, and execute detailed ETL test plans and test cases.- Perform thorough validation of ETL workflows to ensure accurate data transformation and loading.- Track, report, and help resolve defects identified during testing cycles.- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python for testing and data validation purposes.- Collaborate with development teams using GitHub for version control and code management.- Utilize Databricks for managing and testing data engineering workflows.- Assist in building and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.- Analyze test results and troubleshoot data quality issues with a strong focus on accuracy and Skills & Qualifications :- 3+ years of experience in SQL and ETL Testing with hands-on expertise.- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.- Good working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.- Experience in creating and executing ETL test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.- Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.- Basic knowledge of Databricks for data workflows.- Exposure to Azure Data Factory for data pipeline management.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data quality Qualifications :- Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data warehousing concepts.- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation within them.- Knowledge of other scripting languages and test automation frameworks.
