Proposed Role
Candidate will be involved in managing custom market research projects of various scopes and will be instrumental in driving new solutions / products alongside with other teams.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate should have rich experience in the market research industry. Candidate should have a good understanding of Primary research (especially online quantitative research), and should have worked on advanced modeling technique on survey data (such as Regression, Key driver, Correspondence maps, TURF analysis, Factor analysis, etc.). They should have strong process and exposure on answering client queries and unearth patterns from data with help of simple exploratory analysis to modeling. Candidate should have proficiency on research as well as analytics tool such as SPSS, R or Python.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of all research methodologies, with the ability to solutions to client objectives by means of various statistical analysis.
- Expertise in research data and interpretation with 3+ years of primary research and modeling including key-drivers, random forest, TURF, segmentation, etc. analysis.
- Experience with advanced survey analytics techniques including segmentation, clustering, regression & driver analysis using either SPSS, Q, R or Python is a must.
- Run market simulations, analyze study data, and provides report conclusions and recommendations, with minimal supervision.
- Adept at major aspect of branding and brand equity studies involving Marketing Mix Modeling, Market Lift, Multi-Touch Attribution, etc.
- Experience on Trade-off analysis like MaxDiff, Conjoint analysis, DCM would be an added advantage.
- Should be able to explain results of complex model in conscience and non-technical terms to clients with clear interpretation of results on what this means for their research objectives.
- Prepares and presents study results to clients.
- Should have clear conceptual knowledge in basic survey analysis techniques including significance testing and sample weighting.
- Should have solid experience in servicing end clients to understand their need and break-down into specific tasks, provide appropriate consultation and report them with crisp inferences and recommendations.
- Will be responsible for selecting the appropriate analytical methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective.
- Consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns.
- Ability to give recommendation on questionnaire design aspects so as to enhance the robustness of model by asking right questions.
- Hands-on experience in developing research instrument & questionnaires.
- Supervises direct reports by answering questions, providing constructive and consistent feedback, and conducting performance appraisals in a timely manner.
- Mentor team to drive research reports independently.
- Should be a self-starter and motivated to continuously research and evaluate new methodologies for market research.
- Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to rapidly develop an understanding of new content and speak credibly with stakeholders.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- MSc/B.Tech with strong statistical knowledge.
- Python or R skills
- Strong communication skills, oral and written especially with clients and sales.
- Excellent problem solver; ability to troubleshoot
- Analytical & Methodical approach
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Office Applications (Word / Excel / PPT) is a must.
- Knowledge of platforms used as part of market research.
