What You'll Do :

- Develop High-Quality Code : Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python and the Django framework, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

- Provide Technical Leadership : Lead by example, mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance, and contribute to raising the overall technical expertise of the team.

- Efficiently Resolve Issues : Debug and troubleshoot performance issues and functional defects in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.

- Integrate Systems : Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and connections with various 3rd-party systems to enhance the functionality and interoperability of our platform.

- Optimize Backend Performance : Optimize database queries for performance and efficiency, diagnose and resolve complex backend challenges, and ensure the scalability of our applications.

- Contribute to Architecture and Design : Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of robust and scalable solutions.

- Collaborate Effectively : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software that meets user needs.

- Stay Updated : Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in Python, Django, and related technologies.

- Contribute to Testing : Participate in the development and execution of unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.

- Document Solutions : Create clear and concise technical documentation for developed features and solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- Python & Django Expertise : 6+ years of strong hands-on professional experience developing applications using Python and the Django framework.

- This includes a deep understanding of Django's ORM, views, serializers, and templating system.

- Programming Fundamentals : Deep understanding of core programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.

- Debugging & Code Review : Proven ability to effectively debug complex issues, conduct thorough and constructive code reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment.

- API Development & Integration : Extensive experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Experience integrating with various 3rd-party systems using different protocols and data formats.

Additional Requirements :

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with other Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks beyond unit testing (e., integration testing, end-to-end testing).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

- Understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
