Lenskart focuses on leveraging technology to revolutionize the eyewear industry and create positive customer experiences.Job Description – Tech Lead (Full-Stack Engineering & Systems Integration)Location: Gurugram (On-site) Employment Type: Full-timeWe are looking for a highly experiencedfull-stack engineer (10+ years)who has repeatedly designed, built, and shipped production-grade softwarein fast-paced environments. This role is hands-on and architecture-driven: you will be responsible for building a scalable system that processes real-time visual data, integrates with external devices, manages complex workflows, and delivers a high-reliability experience.The Tech Lead will define architectures, write high-quality code, integrate with AI/ML modules, and guide engineering execution end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, full-stack development, and intelligent automation.Key Responsibilities • Architect and build a production-grade platform involving real-time data processing, workflow automation, and visual state tracking. • Design and develop backend services, API layers, and front-end dashboards that interact with external devices and system logic. • Write clean, maintainable, scalable code across the stack, and lead by example as a hands-on senior engineer. • Integrate with AI/ML output pipelines (vision models, inference logic, decision algorithms) in collaboration with AI teams. • Build robust logging, annotation, monitoring, and workflow interpretation systems. • Optimise performance, reliability, and fault tolerance for real-world deployment. • Manage sprint execution, code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical prioritisation. • Work closely with product, AI, and operations teams to deliver a cohesive experience. • Drive rapid prototyping where required, and then harden prototypes into stable production systems. • Mentor engineers and help level up the engineering culture through standards and best practices.Qualifications • 10+ years of hands-on coding experience with a track record of shipping high-quality, scalable software systems. • Deep expertise in full-stack development, including backend architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native design. • Strong working knowledge of APIs, microservices, message queues, event-driven systems, and modern frameworks.• Experience integrating or operationalising AI/ML outputs (vision or inference systems) is strongly preferred. • Comfort working with real-time data, system state monitoring, and hardware–software interaction layers. • Proven ability to break down complex problems into modular, testable, maintainable components. • Strong project execution, architectural decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or device-integrated systems is a plus but not required.Why This Role Matters This role is for a seasoned builder who can take an idea from concept to reliable production deployment.
