Position: MicroStrategy Developer
Purpose of the Position: This role is to help our end clients build sustainable reporting, analytic and data solutions to meet business needs, create business value and drive outcomes. Solutions will be designed, developed, and implemented utilizing enterprise technologies including MicroStrategy with underlying databases including MS SQL server, SSIS etc.
Location: Pune/Nagpur/Chennai/Bengaluru
Key Result Areas and Activities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Technical Design - Interact with Architects, Lead Engineers, and business area teams to build detailed technical design documents and meet business needs for complex projects, considering capabilities, risks, and system dependencies
- Full Lifecycle Reporting and Analytic Solutions - Accountable for the design, build, test and deployment of full lifecycle Reporting and Analytic solutions
- Project Planning and Estimation - Work with the lead Architect to create a work breakdown structure and project estimates to meet client needs for critical project delivery
- Development Best Practices and Strategic Roadmap - Champion efforts to ensure appropriate development best practices and assist with strategy and roadmap development
Essential Skills:
- Good technical skills with thorough understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts & MSTR Architecture
- Has strong experience on creating Schema and reporting objects, is able to work independently with business stakeholders to transform requirements into technical requirements
- Strong experience in MicroStrategy development, including the design and implementation of RSD’s & Dashboards, Dossiers
- Proficient in writing SQL, Good experience on MicroStrategy. Any other BI tool exposure is good to have
- Understanding of business intelligence, data warehousing, data modelling, architectures, and terminology
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of MicroStrategy report performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Proven experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Agile development to plan and organize work activities for team execution.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to understand key business processes and related issues.
- Domain knowledge in Legal industry
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or other technical disciplines.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience of BI tools, primarily on MicroStrategy.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills with a high degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated self-leadership with the ability to work independently and manage conflict
- Proven learning agility as data technologies and capabilities evolve rapidly
- Is able to provide technical support to other team members as required
