SAP BTP CAPM Consultant

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated SAP BTP CAPM Consultant with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying cloud applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should have practical expertise in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js / Java, and Fiori/UI5. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, build, and integrate scalable cloud solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.Work with Node.js or Java for backend development and SAP UI5/Fiori for frontend.Develop and maintain OData / RESTful APIs and integrate with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, or other SAP modules.Configure and manage BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Destination Service, XSUAA, Workflow, and Business Rules.Implement best practices for CI/CD, version control (Git), and code quality.Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance.Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP innovations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.2–4 years of experience in SAP BTP development, including CAPM projects.Strong programming skills in Node.js or Java.Hands-on experience with SAP UI5/Fiori, OData services, and HANA Cloud DB.Good understanding of authentication and authorization (XSUAA) and JWT tokens.Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Knowledge of SAP Cloud SDK or Business Application Studio (BAS) is a plus.Nice to Have:Experience in Event Mesh, SAP Build Apps, or SAP Integration Suite.Exposure to SAP S/4HANA extensions and Side-by-Side Extensibility.SAP BTP certification is an added advantage.
