About the Role :


We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Data Statistician who done PHD to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career professional to transition into advanced analytics and data science. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in statistical methodologies, a knack for working with complex datasets, and an eagerness to grow into a data science role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data.
  • Develop and implement statistical models to support product development and decision-making processes.
  • Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Assist in building machine learning models and predictive analytics as part of transitioning into a data science role.
  • Stay up-to-date with new statistical methods, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
  • PhD candidates or fresh graduates with relevant coursework/research will be a great fit.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge in statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Knowledge with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus.
  • Other Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


  • Knowledge to product development or applied statistics in real-world projects.
  • Knowledge in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a bonus.
